Interlude[]
Ruby is seen on top of Hogwarts, fighting two Nevermores.She swiftly defeats the two monsters. Ruby drops down on the rooftop and sighs.
Ruby: All in a days worth!
She turns around, and then suddenly sees an angry Hermione.
Hermione: What are you doing up here?
Ruby: I'm out here on duty, killing Nevermores. Who are you? Are you a huntress?
Hermione: Huntress? No, I'm a witch.And there's been no "duty" ordered right now, and what's a Nevermore? Who even are you?
Ruby: My name is Ruby Rose!
Hermione: Well "Ruby Rose," you're not supposed to be here. You better leave right now! I can deal with those "Nevermores" by myself.
Ruby: WAIT! I still have more to d-
Hermione: LEAVE! Or I'll have to make you leave by force!
Ruby: Jeez... Um... Well... Try it!
She then gets her scythe ready. Hermione sighs and points her wand towards Ruby.
HERE WE GO!![]
Hermione starts it off by shooting an Incendio towards her. Ruby dodges it by jumping to the side. She turns her scythe into a gun and shoots a few bullets at her. Hermione uses Protego to block the bullets and reflects them towards Ruby. She uses her semblance to dodge the rogue bullets and gets in front of Hermione. She tries counter-attacking by stabbing her with her scythe, but Hermione blocks it with Protego again. Ruby jumps off of Protego, but quickly gets launched away by Hermioneβs Aqua Eructo. Ruby lands on her back and rolls backwards, getting back on her feet. She faces Hermione, who launches Glacius towards her, which Ruby quickly dodges by jumping to the left. She jumps into the air and starts charging towards Hermione, who quickly jumps backwards. She then launches Ruby away with Ventus. Ruby almost gets launched off the roof, but she stabs her scythe into it, preventing her from falling off of it. Hermioneβs broomstick suddenly flies up to her, and she gets on it. She starts circling Ruby, which the huntress spots.
Ruby: A flying broomstick⦠AWESOME!!!
She starts shooting many nonverbal spells towards Ruby. She reacts by running around, dodging the spells. Suddenly, Ruby charges towards Hermione in the air and slices the broom in half, Luckily for Hermione, she jumps off of it before Ruby does so. She uses Arresto Momentum to safely fall to the ground. Ruby drops to the ground and the both of them start clashing with each other, before Ruby jumps backwards. She charges towards Hermione again, but the witch launches an Avada Kedavra towards Ruby. The huntress spots it, so she jumps out of the way and lands on the ground. Ruby uses Fire Dust to shoot fire towards Hermione, who also does the same with Incendio. They start shooting more fireballs towards each other, which collide with each other. Suddenly, Hermione teleports behind Ruby and fires an Avada Kedavra. Fortunately for Ruby, she spots it, and jumps out of the way.
Ruby counter-attacks by shooting a few ice shards towards Hermione, and she dodges the shards. She then launches Incendio towards Ruby and it hits her, launching her a bit away. Ruby slides across the rooftop and sees Hermione shoot multiple nonverbal spells towards her. She dodges and blocks the spells, and proceeds to run up to Hermione. She swiftly slashes at Hermioneβs chest and tries following it up. However, Hermione teleports a bit back, and shoots Incendio at Ruby. She dodges it by jumping backwards, and counter-attacks by launching electricity towards her. Hermione gets paralyzed for a second, allowing Ruby to slash at her a couple of times, before kicking her down. She aims her gun towards her, when Hermione suddenly teleports above Ruby. She aims her wand towards the rooftop and casts Bombarda towards it. Once it hits the rooftop, Ruby gets launched off of the building.
As she is falling to the ground, Ruby looks down and sees a bridge made of concrete. She uses her semblance to safely land on the ground. Ruby looks forwards and sees Hermione drop down in front of her, using Arresto Momentum to safely land.
Hermione: Youβre quite stubborn, arenβt youβ¦
Ruby grips her scythe tighter. Hermione aims her wand towards Ruby and shoots Avada Kedavra towards her. Ruby dodges it and sees Hermione shoot many nonverbal spells towards her. She tries dodging those spells, but she gets launched away by one of them. She quickly gets up and charges towards Hermione. Hermione encases her wand in ice and stands firm. Once Ruby gets close to her, the both of them start clashing with their scythe and wand respectively. Ruby jumps backwards and shoots a fireball at Hermione. She then shoots another fireball towards it, and they both collide. Ruby suddenly starts charging at Hermione. She notices that, so she hits Ruby away with a spell.
She recovers and looks towards Hermione, who shoots multiple Avada Kedavra spells towards Ruby. She responds by jumping around the whole bridge, dodging the killing curses. She then charges towards Hermione and attempts to slash at her, but she quickly jumps backwards. She counter-attacks by pushing Ruby away with Ventus. Ruby recovers in the air and uses her semblance to get above Hermione and then starts charging down towards her. Hermione spots Ruby, so she dodges the attack by jumping backwards. Hermione attempts to counter-attack Ruby with Avada Kedavra, but Ruby is too quick and stabs her before she could do so. Once she stabs Hermione, she suddenly slashes right through her, slicing the witch in half.
Hermioneβs two halves fall to the ground, and Ruby looks back. She then jumps away, continuing her mission
