Reaper VS Shadow is SSS42X2's 64th DBX and 4th of Season 4. It features Reaper of Overwatch and Shadow the Hedgehog of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

They're dark, edgy, and do things in their own way. It's Overwatch's Reaper against Sonic's Shadow the Hedgehog!

Fight Intro[]
LOCATION: Ruined City
(Cue City Ruins - NieR: Automata)
In a city covered in flames and ruins walked a mysterious creature, revealing himself as Shadow the Hedgehog. He looks around the flames and rubble surrounding him.
Shadow: Hmph, what a mess.
Suddenly, someone walked past him, revealing Reaper.
(Cue Rapid Response)
Reaper: Actions have consequences.
Shadow flips back and charges Chaos Energy in his hands.
Shadow: Death to all who oppose me!
Reaper: You chose your side.
Reaper pulled out his Hellfire Shotguns and faced Shadow.
Phase: Reaping Shadows![]
FATE IS DECIDED HERE!
HERE WE GOOO!
Reaper starts firing his shotguns at Shadow, who dodges the bullets with his quick speed before going in and dealing multiple attacks before sending Reaper back with a spin kick. Reaper keeps firing, but Shadow pulls out a machine gun and starts firing himself, only for both of their bullets to bounce off each other until they run out of ammo. Reaper throws his guns away and gets two new ones, but Reaper gets attacked by Shadow, blocking from a melee receiving from the bio-engineered hedgehog. Afterwards, Shadow side kicks Reaper, leaving seventeen orbs of Chaos energy around Reaper. Shadow snaps his fingers, causing the orbs to explode, sending Reaper crashing down at the ground. Shadow then launches a barrage of Chaos Spears at Reaper while he's down, but the mercenary jumps up and knees Shadow in the abdomen, kicked him back, and then launches a volley of bullets from his shotguns. When the smoke subsides, Shadow is nowhere to be found. Shadow appears behind Reaper, with bullets in his hands. He then quickly throws them to Reaper, who hardly feels the attack by phasing through them as he charges forward. Shadow disappears, but Reaper sees him from behind and uses the opportunity to charge at the hedgehog with a gun bash. Shadow grabs a piece of burning debris to regain his footing before leaping back at his opponent. Shadow placed his boots in Reaper's face and flies off, burning Reaper with his jet boots. The two then counter blow for blow before Reaper gets the upper hand with his Wraith Form. Shadow manages to get a few strikes in before Reaper shoots his arm and causes him to bleed out of a bullet wound.
Shadow: Damn!
Reaper then points one of his shotguns at Shadow's forehand.
Reaper: Any last words?
Shadow then kicks Reaper in the gut before the mercenary shoots the hedgehog into the flames.
Reaper: I'll see you in hell.
(Cue Overload)
Shadow appears in front of Reaper on his motorcycle. Reaper then stands his ground before Shadow drives ahead, attempting to turn Reaper into roadkill.
(Cue Keep Up)
Shadow jumps off the bike and above Reaper, much to the latter's surprise. While he's distracted, Shadow's bike strikes Reaper forward and Shadow goes in. Reaper goes into his Wraith Form, causing Shadow to go right through him. Shadow tries several more times, but fails. He leaps and fires four Chaos Spears, but Reaper counters with his Shotguns, firing seven shots that Shadow dodges, except for one, which sends him flying back. Reaper teleports behind him with Shadow Step and uses a light post to knock the hedgehog upward. Reaper then shoots him to a building, covering a part of it in blood before being launched up again. After being launched up, Shadow notices a pile of debris covered in flames and dives into it, leaving Reaper to look on. Shadow then shoots out with his body covered in Chaos energy, turning his body red. He hits Reaper with multiple Chaos Spears, followed by a Spear of Light and then slams into him multiple times with Spin Attacks before hitting him with a spin kick, and transferring all of the Chaos energy into his hands, sending Reaper flying with an extremely powerful Chaos Blast. Reaper gets up and uses Shadow Step and appears back to where he was. Shadow then surrounded himself with all seven Chaos Emeralds.
(Cue White Jungle (Console) - Sonic Forces)
Shadow then becomes Super Shadow while Reaper charged up his Death Blossom.
Reaper: You can't be serious.
Shadow: You're going straight to hell!
Shadow then quickly kicks his opponent back before running around him, creating small illusions. The Reaper then used his Death Blossom to end the hedgehog.
Reaper: DIE! DIE! DIE!
Reaper hits nothing but air as the yellow hedgehog rapidly attacks him with multiple strikes. Reaper and Shadow then clashed fists until Shadow glows in a turquoise-coloured aura.
Shadow: Chaos...
Reaper: The grave cannot-
Shadow: Control!
Shadow teleports him and Reaper into space. Shadow is fine, but Reaper turns to ice.
Shadow: This is over!
(Cue Dingodile - Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy)
Shadow grabs the frozen Reaper and flies back down to Earth. He throws Reaper onto the ground before firing a Spear of Light afterwards that hits Reaper. Shadow flies off to another part of the city and snaps his fingers, creating a massive explosion the signals the end of Reaper's life.
(Cut Music)
Shadow then turns back to normal.
Shadow: Hmph, pathetic.
Shadow then walks away.
