Agumon VS Naruto is SSS42X2's 60th DBX and Off-Script Season finale. It features Agumon of the Digimon franchise (along with his partner, Tai Kamiya) and Naruto Uzumaki of the eponymous franchise.

The Off-Script Season comes to a close with a battle between Agumon and Naruto! Who will win? Who will die?

Fight Intro[]
Near an ancient shrine, Naruto Uzumaki is seen meditating near the top of a waterfall. Meanwhile nearby, Tai Kamiya and his partner Agumon spot him.
Agumon: Hey Tai, who's that?
Tai: Beats me.
Agumon and Tai then feel a small presence of energy around him.
Tai: A tamer?
Agumon: Maybe...
Kurama: Naruto, I sense something.
Naruto is unable to hear Kurama, as he dozes off to sleep.
Kurama: Naruto, wake up!
Naruto opens his eyes and sees Agumon jump towards him. He gets out of the way. Tai appears next to Agumon while Naruto tries to protest.
Naruto: What was that for?!
Tai: Agumon, go!
(Cue Ink Me Up - Splatoon)
Agumon rushes towards Naruto, who pulls out a kunai.
Phase 1: Digital Ninja![]
HERE WE GOOO!
Naruto deflects two slashes from Agumon before kicking low and sweeping Agumon of his feet. Naruto then kicks him three times before slashing Agumon with the kunai twice and punching him three times, the last one sending him back a bit.
Tai: Agumon, let's heat things up!
Agumon: Pepper Breath!
Agumon fires multiple fireballs from his mouth that Naruto blocks with the kunai. Agumon then heads in and uses Claw Attack, but Naruto dodges and rapidly strikes his back before throwing him into the water. Agumon gets out and tries to rapidly kick Naruto, but he parries and rolls out of the way. Agumon then rapidly strikes Naruto, but blocks all of the strikes with little to no damage. Naruto and Agumon then counter blow-for-blow until Naruto lands two spin kicks. Agumon then uses three Pepper Breaths that Naruto avoids. Agumon then fires two Pepper Burners that Naruto blocks. Agumon fire multiple Pepper Breaths at Naruto once more, who once again dodges, but it proves to be a distraction, as Agumon sticks his left-clawed hand into Naruto's back.
(Cut Music)
Agumon: Gotcha!
Tai: Good job!
Suddenly, Naruto turns into a smoke bomb, revealing that the Naruto Agumon fought was just a shadow clone.
Tai/Agumon: What the-
The smoke bomb goes off, leaving the area in smoke until Agumon clears the area.
Tai: Wait, where'd he go?
Agumon then sees Naruto 20ft away from them. Naruto then runs off.
Tai: After him!
Tai and Agumon give chase to Naruto down the waterfall.
(Cue Sunset Heights - Sonic Forces)
Naruto then looks back and sees Tai and Agumon chasing him.
Kurama: Naruto, I'll direct you. Just keep going.
Naruto nods and keeps running. Agumon and Tai manage to gain on Naruto.
Tai: Agumon, he's all yours!
Agumon nods and slashes Naruto multiple times, but the ninja avoids all of the strikes and creates multiple shadow clones. They all start circling, creating a small whirlwind around Agumon, sending him downwards. Naruto then threw multiple ninja tools at the Digimon, striking him down. Naruto then charges up a Rasengan before throwing it at Agumon, striking the Digimon down. Naruto then takes out a kunai once more and slowly slashes Agumon in the chest. He does it once more before jumping back. He launches himself at Agumon, rushing around the Digimon multiple times. He then rapidly strikes Agumon with multiple chakra-infused strikes. Naruto throws Agumon down before rushing over to Tai. He throws Kamiya down as well before diving. Tai and Agumon then land on their gut before Naruto follows from the waterfall. Tai walks to Agumon.
Tai: Okay then, let's get serious.
Tai activates the Digivice to Digivolve Agumon.
(Cue Main Theme - Digimon)
Agumon: Agumon! Digivolve to...
Agumon then Digivolves into his Champion form, Greymon.
Greymon: Greymon!
Naruto looks at his newly digivolved opponent.
Greymon: Bring it-
Naruto was gone before Tai and Greymon's eyes.
(Cue Rising Dragon - Naruto Shippuden)
Naruto appeared in Sage Mode before opening his eyes. Greymon and Tai faced Sage Naruto, ready to fight.
Naruto/Greymon: Let's...
Phase 2: Grey Sage![]
GO!
Naruto runs towards Greymon, but the Digimon spits out multiple fireballs that surround the Sage. The fire then dissipates, but Naruto disappears with Substitution Jutsu. He jumps up and strikes down with a Rasengan, but Greymon shrugs it off.
Greymon: Great Horns Attack!
Greymon bashes Naruto with his horns, but then ninja gets backs up before punching the air in front of Greymon. Greymon is then sent back to the force of the punch. As Greymon recovers, Naruto creates multiple shadow clones around the area. Greymon roars.
Greymon: Tail Whip!
Greymon strikes the clones with his tail, and all the clones disappear. Naruto appears behind the Digimon and strikes from behind with a Rasengan in each hand. Greymon then sees 100 Naruto shadow clones in the air in front of him, each with a Rasengan in their hands.
Naruto: Sage Art: Massive Rasengan Mega Barrage!
Greymon then charges up.
Greymon: Nova Flame!
He blasts a wave of pure fire at the clones, who bring their Rasengans down onto Greymon's head. Greymon then staggers back as the clones disappear and the real Naruto starts running on the walls to recover.
Tai: Got him on the run. Go on the offensive!
Greymon uses Nova Flame once more, but Naruto avoids it. He then throws out multiple shadow clones that strike Greymon around the body. Naruto creates a clone that helps him unleash a Giant Rasengan at Greymon, knocking him back. Naruto created more shadow clones that tackle Greymon.
Greymon: Not a chance!
Greymon stomps and creates a shockwave, causing the clones to disappear. Naruto then prepares the Ture Wind Style: Rasen Shuriken.
Naruto: This stops now!
Naruto throws the spinning energy shuriken at Greymon.
Tai: Greymon, now!
Greymon: Nova Blast!
Greymon uses the Nova Blast, as it clashes with Naruto's attack. The Nova Blast ultimately wins out, as it strikes Naruto out of his Sage form and down towards the river below.
(Cut Music)
Tai: Let's go check it out. He might still be kicking.
Greymon nods as the two head down. The two sensed a strange energy coming from below. When they got down, Tai activates the Digivice.
Tai: Just in case, we'll add more firepower.
(Cue Brave Heart - Digimon)
Greymon: Greymon! Digivolve to...
Greymon Digivolves into his next form, MetalGreymon.
Metal: MetalGreymon!
(Cue Record Scratch)
Metal and Tai look to see Naruto covered in a red aura. He then jumps at MetalGreymon before going into the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.
(Cue Terminal - Renard (feat. Adraen))
Naruto/Metal: Time to...
Phase 3: Metal Fox![]
GO WILD!
Naruto zips around MetalGreymon before throwing out multiple Rasengans around him, causing the Digimon to stagger back. MetalGreymon slashes at Naruto, who barely dodges.
MetalGreymon: Giga Blaster!
Naruto is sent back and is damaged by two missiles from MetalGreymon's chest.
Naruto: Damn, that hurts. Kurama, you're up!
Kurama: Got it!
Naruto surrounds himself in a Kurama-sized avatar and starts trading blows with MetalGreymon. Both of their attacks are so dense, they can be felt for miles.
MetalGreymon: Mega Claw!
MetalGreymon tries slashing Kurama, but the fox dodges and approaches the Digimon, who picks up and throws a boulder at him. Kurama simply bites the boulder and continues towards his opponent as Metal uses his Powerful Flame attack. Afterward, he proceeds to swing both of his hands at Kurama and strikes him with the Metal Slash attack. Kurama then grabs onto MetalGreymon and roars in his face, sending him back with sheer force. Kurama then ran towards Metal and slammed him into some rocks behind a waterfall. Metal then gets back up.
MetalGreymon: Tera Destroyer!
MetalGreymon fires the Tera Destroyer while Kurama fires a Tailed Beast Bomb. The two attacks collide and disintegrate, but Metal is then struck by a Tailed Beast Planetary Rasen Shuriken. MetalGreymon and Tai are both sent flying back and into a nearby tree. A small hole can be seen in the tree after an explosion of chakra. Tai barely gets up while MetalGreymon reverts back to Agumon due to the force of his opponent's attack.
Agumon: Tai, help!
Tai: Agumon! No!
Tai activates the Digivice as a last resort.
(Cue Butter-Fly - Digimon)
Agumon: Agumon! Warp Digivolve to...
Agumon Digivolves into his Mega form, WarGreymon.
WarGreymon: WarGreymon!
Naruto appears behind WarGreymon, who recoils back.
Naruto: What the heck is that?!
(Cue Speed Racer)
Tai walks up to WarGreymon.
Tai: Now you'll see what real power is!
Naruto taps into his final form: Six-Paths Sage Mode.
Naruto: Bring it!
Naruto/WarGreymon: Time to end this...
Final Phase: Six Paths To War![]
FIGHT!
Naruto attacks WarGreymon with fast combos from the Truth-Seeking Orbs and sends the Digimon back onto a fallen tree stump. WarGreymon produces multiple blasts of flames at Naruto, who dodges all of the attacks and throws out a Tailed Beast Bomb Rasen Shuriken. The Digimon dodges before Uzumaki tries throwing out a Rasengan, but WarGreymon dodges. Naruto goes in for another strike, but gets hit by a slash from the Digimon.
WarGreymon: Great Tornado!
WarGreymon rams into Naruto at high speed a few times before grabbing the shinobi and spinning around in a circle while holding him. WarGreymon then throws Naruto to the ground.
WarGreymon: Mega Claw!
WarGreymon slashes Naruto in the chest, causing the ninja to cough blood. Naruto jumps back to recover, but War appears behind him and slashes him upwards, allowing War to knock Naruto to the floor, spin him around in a lariat of flames, and impale him before throwing the shinobi backwards.
WarGreymon: Ultra Tornado!
WarGreymon then releases a massive storm of flames at Uzumaki, but Naruto is unscathed due to his healing factor. Naruto rams into WarGreymon six times before creating multiple shadow clones. WarGreymon then uses Great Tornado to get rid of the shadow clones before aiming for the real Naruto.
Naruto: Transform!
(Cue World of Fantasy - SpongeBob SquarePants)
Naruto uses the Sexy Jutsu to try and confuse WarGreymon.
WarGreymon/Tai: Huh?!
(Cue Ready to Die (Waiting 2 Die) - Twisted Metal (2012))
The technique wears off and Naruto strikes WarGreymon in the jaw. Naruto then creates multiple shadow clones around the stunned WarGreymon. Two of the clones strike War in the cheeks as they fly past each other. Another one fires three Rasenshuriken, greatly damaging the Digimon. A clone then tried to charge a Rasengan, but stopped and rolled behind WarGreymon before striking him with a chakra arm, sending him upward. As War landed from the attack, Naruto went for a downward stomp, but WarGreymon flew backwards to avoid it, but is struck from under when a shadow clone pops up from under the ground. Two clones then cornered War, striking with weapons from the Truth-Seeking Orbs. Another clone went to capitalize on it with a Rasenshuriken, but War dodges it and ducked under a chakra arm from behind. While distracted, the shinobi used this opportunity to throw a Mini Rasen Shuriken, which knocked WarGreymon upward before striking the Digimon with a two-handed chakra arm slam, which sent War flying behind him with great force. Naruto then used the Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken while WarGreymon looks on.
WarGreymon: Brave Shield!
WarGreymon blocks the attack, but receives great damage. Naruto then appears under War and kicks him upward. Naruto then launches a Massive Rasengan at War, who is unable to avoid it. Naruto leaps down and rapidly attacked WarGreymon. War counters one of Naruto's punches before the Digmon pushes the shinobi back. Naruto tries throwing multiple kunai at War, who blocks them and fires back with balls of flames. Naruto leaps high in the air to avoid them. WarGreymon uses Mega Claw to slash Naruto upward, but the ninja snaps his fingers, revealing an explosive tag on War's back as it detonates, sending the Digimon sky high. Naruto tries to strike him, but War dodges and sends Naruto to the ground with an axe kick. WarGreymon then prepares his ultimate attack, the Terra Force.
WarGreymon: Time to end this!
Naruto charges up a blast of chakra at the Mega-leveled Digimon.
WarGreymon: Tai, give me a boost!
Tai: Got it!
Naruto cancels the chakra blast and throws a kunai infused with chakra at Tai.
Naruto: Not this time!
Tai pulls out the Digivice, but the kunai is about to touch it.
WarGreymon: Terra Force!
WarGreymon throws the sphere of energy at Naruto, who barely has any time to react to it. The screen fades to black.
(Cut Music)
The screen then cuts to Tai, who lies down in pain and the Digivice, which is broken by Naruto's kunai.
Naruto: Kurama, if you're still there, GIVE ME YOUR STRENGTH!
(Cue Shonen Showdown - Brandon Yates)
Naruto roars out with the little strength Kurama has left. WarGreymon just looks in shock, realizing that he has no chance. WarGreymon then reverts back to Agumon before falling down. Naruto charged up and threw a Rasenshuriken at Agumon before the Digimon hit the ground. Tai then gets up while holding his head in pain.
Agumon: Tai, look out!
Tai: What the- HUH?!
Agumon rams into Tai, sending both Tamer and Digimon onto a nearby rock. Naruto, his eyes now bloodred, then charges up all of his remaining chakra into one final attack, the Nine-Tails Rasengan. He runs towards Tai and Agumon before roaring out and pushing the chakra sphere onto Agumon's chest.
Naruto: Believe it!
Tai and Agumon scream in pain before disintegrating from the face of the world. A small explosion of chakra can be seen for miles. Naruto then jumped onto a tree before looking back upon the area.
Naruto: Man, who were those guys?
(End Music)
Naruto then dashes out of the area.
